Sport Studies Programs
Resource Faculty
Kathy Tritschler
The Exercise and Sport Studies Major provides a program of study with both breadth and depth in the subject matter. More specifically, the ESS curriculum offers students a solid academic preparation for graduate study in the exercise sciences (including exercise physiology, nutrition, sport psychology, etc.) and/or employment in allied health and fitness fields such as corporate wellness, cardiac rehabilitation, and personal and strength training. This major may also contribute to preparation for professional programs leading to a career as a physical therapist, occupational therapist, or physician assistant (see Anne Glenn x2234 for admission requirements to these professional programs).
