The BFA degree in art is designed for students primarily interested in becoming professional artists or in entering graduate school in studio art. This degree requires 4 ½ - 5 years.

NOTES: Art portfolio needs to be approved for permission to major in studio art at the end of the junior year. Students are urged to participate in seminars abroad and in major cities of America. A two-semester senior thesis independent study is required, with senior exhibition (Senior Thesis, Art 480 and 481).
