Become an Orientation Leader
Orientation Leader Position Description
An Orientation Leader provides guidance and support for new incoming students during orientation. This support includes, but is not limited to: move-in day duties (check in, tours, residence hall move-in assistance, giving directions, participating in positive student and parent interaction, etc.), leading small group sessions, attending all required orientation events with new students, being available in your residence for questions and support while “off duty,” and setting a positive example for incoming students. Orientation leaders will attend and participate in training and meetings as requested.
Orientation leaders will also be responsible for communicating important dates and information to a select group of incoming students over the summer break.
