The Program in Madrid
Guilford offers a program in Madrid at the Universidad Europea de Madrid for upper-intermediate to advanced Spanish speakers. This program is offered through Guilford's partner in study abroad programs, the Foundation for International Education (FIE).
To qualify for this program, students must have a minimum of 4 semesters of college-level Spanish or the equivalent and demonstrate upper-intermediate to advanced language proficiency during the application process. Homestays are the primary housing option.
The Program in Alcala de Henares
Council on International Educational Exchange Study Center at the Universidad de Alcala, through (CIEE).
Five semesters of college level Spanish is required. Students are housed with Spanish families in university residences.
The Program in Seville
Council on International Educational Exchange Study Center at the Universidad de Sevilla and the Universidad Pablo Olavide (CIEE).
Minimum of three semesters of college level Spanish, all coursework in Spanish, housing with Spanish families.

Application*
Junior or senior level students may pick up an application from the Office of Study Abroad Programs located in the International Center.
*Students must have special permission from the Study Abroad Director to participate in more than one semester abroad program.
