Language Requirements
Guilford College requires a 213 (computer based), 550 (paper based) or 80 (internet based) on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). If your TOEFL score is below the minimum score you will need to enroll in English language training prior to enrollment. For additional information regarding the TOEFL click here.
Interlink Program
Interlink offers intensive English instruction, cultural orientation, academic preparation for students, scholars, and professionals on a year-round basis. Interlink prepares people for success in academic and professional situations.
The INTERLINK center in Greensboro is located on the campus of THE UNIVERSITY OF NORTH CAROLINA AT GREENSBORO, (UNCG) Greensboro, North Carolina. This is ten minutes (by auto) from Guilford.
Beginning in Fall 2009, Guilford College will be the home to the second INTERLINK Center in Greensboro.
Guilford College does offer a "Conditional Acceptance" with Interlink. Students who need additional English preparation but are academically admissible to Guilford College may request and receive a "Conditional Acceptance" from Guilford if they enroll in the Interlink Program. Once they have successfully completed Interlink they will be automatically accepted for study at Guilford.
