Immigration Issues
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security oversees three branches of immigration:
- BCIS
- ICE
- CBP
The government issues certain rules and regulations which govern international students attending school in the United States. International students must adhere to these regulations or risk losing their student status and subject to immediate departure from the United States.
An immigration overview is provided to all students during their first semester at Guilford College.
The International Student Advisor is the person on campus trained to answer student Immigration questions.
