Financial Aid/Scholarships
International students automatically qualify for some merit-based financial aid. Full scholarships are not available to any student at Guilford. Truly outstanding students (high Academic Scores, TOEFL or SAT scores) may also be considered for an Honors Award. In general, students are invited to apply for the Honors Scholarship once the application form has been reviewed.
F-1 students are eligible to work on campus to earn money towards their expenses. Students may earn up to $2,000 per year.
Community Senate Loan Program This is a low interest loan that permits international students to borrow up to $6,000 per year for their expenses. Students must have a U.S. citizen sign for this loan.
Since Guilford does not have aid which equals all expenses, international students must be prepared to pay a part if not all of the expenses depending upon the amount of scholarship (if any) they are awarded.
