Self Instruction Language Program
CHINESE
Self-instructional Chinese introduces the Chinese language for those students planning to study in China and/or those who want to learn a very different language. Emphasis is on listening and speaking skills, but reading and writing of basic Chinese characters are also included. Generally restricted to sophomores, juniors, and seniors who enjoy learning foreign languages and are able to work independently outside of class. Two credits are awarded for the semester's study.
Mr. Xizhen Wang, a native of China and a recent Guilford graduate, is the instructor for this class.
