The History Department at Guilford College enjoys a richly diverse team of experienced faculty members. Our professors encourage students to think beyond the historical facts and to approach the study of history from the standpoint of how certain events have shaped our past and our present world. The majority of courses are taught seminar style where the free exchange of ideas is always emphasised.
The faculty also prides itself on personal interaction with its students, and the small class sizes and personalized attention serve to foster a unique and satisfying academic experience.
