Clubs and Activities
Activities outside of the classroom are an important part of life at Guilford College. Students and faculty in the Foreign Language Department organize clubs and activities to strengthen both linguistic skills and a sense of community. Weekly conversation tables help students practice in a more relaxed atmosphere. Clubs such as the German Club and Club Hispano/Latino sponsor events that bring the campus and Greensboro communities together for the opportunity to experience foreign cultures. Here at Guilford, there is a constant reminder that the study of language is about more than just grammar and vocabulary; it is about people, cultures, and understanding.
