Internships
If you are interested in taking an internship, please plan to work with your advisor to make the necessary arrangements. Most students agree that internships provide valuable experience and work contracts, but successful internships require planning on your part.
Your first step is to pick up an Internship Packet from Leigh Kale, in the Internship office (Founders B5) an read the material carefully. She will work with you to identify a suitable internship site. Triad area internships are available with Dean Witter Investments, Vantage Marketing, Goodwill Industries, Carolina Monarchs, and many others.
Your next step is to select a faculty adviser in the department willing to sponsor your internship and assist you in designing the course for up to four hours of credit. Early planning will help to make your internship a most rewarding experience. Let the business management faculty know how they may assist you!
