Parents & Family
Often students and alumni need to consider various factors as they explore career options, not the least of which are family considerations. Often family members know their students strengths and passions well and can be important advisers.
The Career Development Center offers a wide variety of services including:
- career counseling
- resumé advising
- career assessment interpretation
- internship coordination
- graduate school preparation and
- major exploration
- job search advising
- much more.
Our engaged and caring staff is committed to your student’s success and is happy to answer in-depth questions about the kinds of services we have available.
We encourage parents, spouses, partners and other family members to talk with their student about their dreams and career plans. Also, please encourage your student to contact the Career Development Center. We strongly encourage students to be proactive in their career planning and to visit our office at least once during their first year on campus.
