One consideration in selecting a college is the support services that are available to students. At Guilford, a number of adult support services are available to assist busy adults in being successful. These services include:
- Knowledgeable staff dedicated to the special needs of adult students
- Adult student academic advising
- "Friend-to-friend" peer mentors who help support and encourage new students
- Convenient registration
- Childcare during Evening or Saturday Classes
- Course schedules designed to minimize unnecessary time and trips to campus
- The Learning Commons which offers free tutoring
- Adult Transitions course to ease the transition back to college
- Convenient parking
- Adult student lounge
- All adult Student Government Association (SGA)
- Computer labs accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week when classes are in session
