By choosing the Guilford-Bryan Accelerated MBA program, you can save one year’s time and tuition! The Business Department of Guilford College is partnering with the Bryan School of Business and Economics at UNCG. This unique program was developed to provide an opportunity for Guilford College students to begin their graduate study while still at Guilford. Students will be able to take MBA classes taught by UNCG faculty as part of their undergraduate studies and reduce the total number of credits needed at UNCG for the MBA from 48 to 30.

Admission Requirements

In order to participate in the Guilford-Bryan Accelerated MBA program, Guilford students need to apply for admission to the Bryan MBA program which requires the following:

  • A completed online application available at www.uncg.edu/grs/applyonline.html. Enter “Guilford Accelerated MBA” in the comments area of the online application

  • Application submitted by July 1 to begin classes in August. Application submitted by November 1 to begin classes in January

  • Official transcripts from all colleges attended, including a current Guilford transcript that shows courses in progress

  • GMAT scores of 550 or higher

  • An overall undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher, and grades of B or higher in the required prerequisite courses

  • A 1000 word personal essay describing your reasons for pursuing an MBA

  • Three letters of recommendation, preferably 2 from academia and one from an employer

  • A resume

  • A possible in-person or telephone interview
