Health Sciences Course Descriptions
- HSCI 260. Independent Study
Credits: 1-4. May also be offered at 360 and 460 levels. - HSCI 290. Internship
Credits: 1-4. May also be offered at the 390 level. - HSCI 400. Health Science Seminar
Credits: 1. Allows students majoring in the health sciences to reflect on their internship experience as well as learn from current professionals in many health-related fields. Students will have an opportunity to discuss current challenges in health care, such as managed care, care of diverse populations, medical ethics and other issues. In addition, the application process for graduate study in the health professions will be discussed. This seminar may not be taken before the junior year.
