Library Responsibilities
Library Responsibilities: The library supports the formal academic program of the college, offering a variety of materials and services as well as being a place to study and pursue academic interests. To ensure an atmosphere conducive to study and academic exploration the following regulations must be respected:
- All materials must be checked out before being removed from the building and returned promptly and in good condition.
- Theft or mutilation of materials will result in judicial charges.
- Smoking is not permitted in the building.
- Food and drink, except for unsugared beverages in spill-proof containers, is permitted in designated areas only, such as the Student Lounge on the Lower Level.
- Quiet zones must be observed.
- Cell phones must be turned off.
- No pets are allowed in the library.
- Children under the age of 12 must be under the direct supervision of a responsible adult at all times.
