Gender Equality Now
The purpose of Gender Equality Now is to take action on campus to educate the community about women's issues, both domestically and internationally, and to promote the equality of all women in all aspects of society. The definition of equality includes, but is not limited to, equal rights and responsibilities in citizenship, public service, employment, education, family life, health care, legal and status, parenthood, and sexual orientation. The organization is dedicated to education and awareness about issues including sexual violence, domestic violence, and reproductive health and rights. The organization serves as an organizing force for education, awareness, and activism as a community of people of all sexes and genders committed to equality.
