Office of the Secretary
The Secretary is responsible for keeping the minutes of Steering Committee and Community Senate meetings. The Secretary serves as the Chair of the Communications Committee which works to facilitate communication on campus, especially regarding campus activities and administration policy. The Secretary also serves as Senate’s chief liaison to the CCE Student Government Organization, and as such regularly attends CCE SGA meetings. Some powers of the Secretary include:
The authority to record and distribute the minutes of Steering Committee and Senate meetings.
The option to assume the office of Vice-President in the event of the Vice-President’s resignation or dismissal.
The power to recommend candidates for vacant Senate positions to the Executive Council.
The Current Secretary is Hannah Kennedy.
