Returns

  • Return authorization must be granted by supplier prior to any product return.

  • Inspect all products shipped for damages and accuracy of order.

  • Notify Purchasing Department within 5 days of any problems with product receipt.

  • Purchasing Department will coordinate pick up and return of product if authorization is granted from supplier.

  • Suppliers do not have to allow returns for errors made by Guilford College.

  • Suppliers do not always take responsibility for breakage in shipping and may refuse to replace an item at no charge. A claim must be submitted to the carrier. Carriers do not always reimburse full value of the shipment.
