Hege Library is a complex of facilities comprising 53,000 square feet of space constructed in four phases, beginning with a matching grant of $9,000 in 1908 from Andrew Carnegie of New York. The library has grown through time to offer generous study spaces, to house the College Art Collection, and to provide print, audiovisual, and electronic resources. The latest addition, completed in 1989 at a cost of $5.4 million, prepares the library for continued growth.

Hege Library The library collection includes more than 250,000 books, periodicals, and non-print media, and the library provides study space for 400 users.

Hege Library is located between Duke Hall and King Hall. Parking for students is available all around campus in designated areas. Parking for visitors is available at New Garden Hall.
