Friends Historical Collection
Information for Visitors

The Research Room is open to the public Tuesday through Friday, 9 am to 12 pm and 2 pm to 5 pm. It is closed on Mondays, weekends, and holidays. It is advisable to e-mail or call before you come to the collection to be sure that there will be someone on hand to assist you. Most materials of primary use to genealogical researchers is located in the Research Room which has limited hours. Access to manuscripts, Quaker records, and rare books is also generally limited to Research Room hours.

Books, published annual minutes, and periodicals on microfilm focusing on Quaker history, thought, and belief are located in our open Quaker stacks (Library 117).  Most of our Quaker periodicals, including magazines from Quaker organizations around the world, are located in the Quaker periodicals room (Library 120). Both 117 and 120 are are available whenever Hege Library is open.

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO VISITING RESEARCHERS:  Due to stricter enforcement of the college's parking policy, visitors are reminded to park in designated visitor parking spaces and to request a parking tag at the library's main desk when they arrive.
