Parking
Due to college parking policy, visitors are reminded to park in designated visitor parking spaces and to request a parking tag at the library's main desk when they arrive. Cars parking in unauthorized spaces will be ticketed. See Campus Map for areas which include designated visitor parking spaces.
Public Access Computing and Internet Services
Public access terminals which allow visitors to use the library's web page are located on each level. These terminals are for Internet access only. They do not allow word processing and are not connected to printers.
Hege Library has wireless Internet availability for guests bringing their personal laptops. There are no guest printing options or laptops for visitors. Hege Library's computers our provided for the use of our students. Therefore, a valid Guilford College network username and password is required for any printing or for computing beyond basic Internet services provided with the public access terminals.
For Genealogists
Those doing family history are advised to visit the Friends Historical Collection Research Room which is open Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to noon and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. The Friends Historical Collection includes both North Carolina Quaker records and the Guilford College archives. See the Friends Historical Collection web pages for additional information regarding resources and services.
