Scheduled Maintenance
FOB Updates
FOB updates occur generally once a week, usually over the weekend. Once you receive your FOB, it will not be activated until the updates run. The IT&S Help Desk has a temporary FOB available for use during this time. Any copies you make with the IT&S FOB will be deducted from your print account. There is also one available in the library for a small cash fee.
Copies
Although printing is automatically deducted from your print account, the copies you make are updated twice a semester. All of the copies you have made since the last update will be charged to your print account all at once.
Server Backups
The network servers are backed up weekly, and incrementally during the week (files that change since last backup). If you experience a loss of data due to an unforeseen circumstance, contact the Help Desk to request a restore of files.
Weekly System Maintenance
IT&S has weekly maintenance scheduled on Fridays from 10pm until Saturday morning at 6am. During this time systems may be unavailable due to reboots or other maintenance.
