Changing Your Address Book Bookmark in Lotus Notes 7

For Faculty and Staff:

As of August 2nd, 2007, all departmental mailfiles and address books have been moved to a new Lotus Notes server and the old lotus notes server (Phoenix) has been retired. If you have a bookmark in your Lotus client to access the Guilford address book, you will need to change your bookmark settings to access your departmental mailfile on the new server.

To change your bookmark:

1. Right click the current address book icon on your Notes bookmark bar, and select Remove Bookmark.

2. When prompted if you are sure, click Yes.

3. At the top menu items, click on File, then Database, then Open.

4. Change the server from Local to NotesDB. If the NotesDB/Guilford server does not appear in your list, click Other, then NotesDB/Guilford.

5. In the list, find and double click on guilford.edu's address book to open. Press Esc at the "About this Database" screen.

6. Once in the address book, at the top menu items, click on Create, then Bookmark.

7. In the Add Bookmark window, click the top choice –Bookmark Bar- , then click OK. Your bookmark will reappear in your bookmark bar.
