2002 NSSE: Enriching Educational Experiences

Results of Enriching Educational ExperiencesThe benchmark for Enriching Educational Experiences covers many elements of students' education, both in and out of the classroom. NSSE notes the importance of experiencing diversity, the appropriate use of technology, and the value of internships, community service, independent study, and capstone courses and experiences. Overall, NSSE emphasizes the need to "provide students with opportunities to synthesize, integrate and apply their knowledge."
