Faculty research is encouraged as part of scholarly growth and teaching. On occasions when research undertaken within facilities provided by the College, and during the period of faculty employment by the College, leads to discoveries that have commercial value, the appropriate patents will be obtained jointly in the name of the College and the faculty member(s). Royalty income from patent rights will be shared on a 50-50 basis between the College and the faculty member(s).
