Support for Student Attendance at Undergraduate Research Conferences
As part of their normal course work, our students complete some impressive work, whether it is a piece of fiction, a research project, a scientific investigation, or a creative arts project. The Guilford College Honors Program assists our student in traveling to various undergraduate research conferences so they may present their work and engage in scholarly discussion with a wider audience. At these conferences, students have the opportunity to meet other students, listen to a variety of student research and creative work, and learn more about post-graduate scholarships and graduate programs in areas of their interest. in most cases, our students leave these conferences recognizing even clearer the high quality of work that occurs on this campus.
