Student Government Association
We welcome you to the Center for Continuing Education Student Government Association (CCE SGA) web page. The CCE SGA is here to serve CCE students. It is our mission to be an advocate for the CCE student body, to provide opportunities that meet the needs of the CCE students, to be good stewards over CCE activity fees and events, and to help develop future SGA leaders. As a governing body, we are seeking to increase awareness of CCE SGA within the CCE community and to encourage leadership development and community service among our CCE peers.
The Student Government provides many opportunities for students to get involved on campus and meet new people. During the 2009-2010 school years, there will be many opportunities for CCE students to get involved with campus activities. The members of the Student Government are now working on plans for several activities such as student orientation tours, evenings on the Hendricks Hall patio, Zen week, Homecoming and The Spring Fling. These are just a few activities that need your involvement to make them a reality and a great success. There are opportunities available for anyone with an interest in being part of a dynamic team and a drive to make Guilford a better place for the student body. Student Government gives you the chance to be the voice of the student body along with the satisfaction of knowing that you helped to improve the environment of our school. We are also creating a bridge for adult and traditional students to participate in various activities to improve the quality of academics and social life on campus.
