Stationery
A coordinated system of college stationery and identification materials presents a unified visual identity when communicating inside and outside the college. It is expected that all college business be conducted on official college letterhead. Individual departments may not create their own stationery or identification materials apart from the college system.Note pads, fax forms, and other, sometimes informal, communications tools also represent Guilford’s unique identity. Although these items typically will not include the detailed information that one would apply to a business card or letter head, the graphic standards illustrated in this manual apply.
Basic campus-wide stationery and envelopes are ordered in bulk from the stock room coordinator in Facilities, sjackson@guilford.edu or 336-316-2327.
Note card and business card orders should be placed through the associate director of communications and marketing (design).
Individual or department-specific stationery can be designed by the Office of Communications and Marketing.
Variations on the official stationery or business card style or recreations of those designs by an outside design or printing firm without the approval of the Office of Communications and Marketing are not permitted. Specific standards for various sizes of stationery and envelopes are maintained by and available through the Office of Communications and Marketing.
All stationery items must adhere to the graphic standards guidelines.
