Julie Teitel to Present Alumni Recital Oct. 8
The Department of Music will present a recital by alumna Julie Teitel on Monday, Oct. 8 at 7:30 p.m. in Dana Auditorium. The recital is free and open to the public.
Teitel, a mezzo-soprano, is currently pursuing her master’s degree in vocal performance at the Eastman School of Music, where she studies under tenor Robert Swensen. Recent solo engagements have been with Mercury Opera Rochester, the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra and Eastman Opera Theatre. In November, Teitel will perform the role of Charlotte in Eastman’s production of Steven Sondheim’s A Little Night Music.
