Yo-Yo Ma's Oct. 26 Talk in the Bryan Series is Sold Out

Yo-Yo MaYo-Yo Ma's talk in the Bryan Series, "Creating a Life with Music," is sold out more than three weeks before the event.

The program is Monday, Oct. 26, at 7:30 p.m. at War Memorial Auditorium and will include a short solo musical performance by the world-renowned cellist.

More than 2,450 tickets were sold or distributed for the event, which is in addition to the four subscription events featuring Garry Trudeau (Oct. 7), Paul Krugman (Nov. 3), Anna Deavere Smith (Feb. 28) and David Gregory (April 13).

"Speaking for Guilford College and the Eastern Music Festival, we are thrilled with the response to this one-time opportunity to hear Yo-Yo Ma to speak publicly about his life and work," said Ty Buckner, senior director of communications and marketing at Guilford.

The college and EMF are partnering to present the event.
