International Studies Department to Present Film Series
Featuring Eleven Films Feb. 13-April 10

Eleven films from around the world will be showcased as part of this year's International Studies at Guilford College Film Series. This year's theme is "Stories of Childhood," and films run from Feb. 13-April 10.

 

All events are at 7:30 p.m. in Joseph M. Bryan Jr. Auditorium on campus, and admission is free and open to the public.

Films will be shown in their original language and subtitled in English when necessary.

Feb. 18: Ali Zaoua: Prince of the Streets (Morocco, 2000)
Feb. 26: Rabbit-Proof Fence (Australia, 2002)
March 16: Nobody Knows (Japan, 2004)
March 20: The Silence of Neto (Guatemala, 1994)
March 23: Sisters in Law (Cameroon, 2005)
March 26: Not One Less (China, 1999)
March 28: Butterfly (Spain, 1999)
April 4: The Official Story (Argentina, 1985)
April 5: Tsotsi (South Africa, 2005)
April 10: Butterfly Wings (Sri Lanka, 2005)
