Students Present Creativity Fest on Oct. 28
Student craftsmen will present Creativity Fest, an evening of student art, music and poetry, on Wednesday, Oct. 28, from 5:30-9 p.m. in the Founders Hall Gallery. An open mike poetry recital will begin at 6:30 p.m.
Tanya Owens-Phillips, an adult student, will give a reading from her recently published poetry book, Earth is a Mother’s Hood. Other students will exhibit their pottery, metal craft, paintings and other art work.
The event is co-sponsored by the Center for Continuing Education’s Student Government Association and the traditional student Community Senate. For more information, call 336-316-2342.
