2007-08 Bryan Series to Feature Award-winning Actors, Best-selling Authors, Former Congressman
The 2007-08 Bryan Series will include four programs featuring award-winning actors, best-selling authors and a former U.S. Congressman.
Academy Award winners Richard Dreyfuss and Louis Gossett Jr. and Emmy winner Jane Seymour will appear in the opening event Tuesday, Sept. 18. Internationally known author Isabel Allende will speak Tuesday, Nov. 13 and former Congressman J.C. Watts will speak Tuesday, Feb. 26. The series will conclude with a talk by Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Bob Woodward the afternoon of Sunday, April 13.

Since 1996, the Bryan Series has created community conversation by presenting speakers such as Desmond Tutu, Mikhail Gorbachev, Colin Powell, Sidney Poitier, Madeleine Albright, Ken Burns, Bill Moyers, David McCullough and Morrison.
