First Guilford Undergraduate Symposium to be Held Feb. 22
The first Guilford Undergraduate Symposium will take place Friday, Feb. 22, from 12:30-5:30 p.m. in Dana Auditorium and in various classrooms in King and Duke halls. The symposium will present the wide variety of work by students across all academic divisions.
Over 50 poster presentations, talks, exhibits and performances are scheduled throughout the afternoon. Projects range from summer research studies to undergraduate theses to class assignments, and include both creative and quantitative work.
Some of the scheduled presentations are “Making WAVES: Navy Servicewomen in World War II;” “Whiteness in Harry Potter;” “Water Quality in the Guilford Campus Stream;” and “Theatre Studies Senior Company: Living Truthfully in an Imaginary World.”
