Take Back Your Time Week Activities Announced for Oct. 26-Nov. 1

Take Back Your Time Week will be held Oct. 26-Nov. 1 and will feature a variety of events to help us focus on the issue of time impoverishment in contemporary culture. The full schedule is still in development, but following are some of the activities to enjoy during the week while reclaiming some time.

Daily: Quiet worship, 8:05 am. Hut.

Sunday, Oct. 26
1 p.m. College Meeting for Worship, led by Abbie Rogers '09. Moon Room.

Monday, Oct. 27
4 p.m. Chocolate passional attraction group. Hut.
5 p.m. Catholic Fellowship badminton tournament. Hut lawn.
9:30 p.m. Vespers. Hut.

Tuesday, Oct. 28
11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Bake sale to benefit Stephanie Williams. Founders.
9:30 p.m. Vespers. Hut.

Wednesday, Oct. 29
Noon Silent worship in the manner of Friends. Hut.
Noon-2 p.m. Extended Stump Speeches on the political campaign. Stump east of Founders.
3:30 p.m. Woods tour to the Underground Railroad tree. Meet at Hut.
4 p.m. Catholic Fellowship discussion. Hut.
9 p.m. Buddhist meditation. Hut.

Thursday, Oct. 30
4 p.m. Homemade doughnuts and local cider. Hut.

7:30 p.m. "Spirituality and Technology" panel. King 126.
9:30 p.m. Vespers. Hut.
9:45 p.m. "Take Back Your Sleep" bedtime stories and s'mores. Hut.

Friday, Oct. 31
Noon-2 p.m. "Fun with Animals." Rescue animals and student and staff pets. Hut.
2 p.m. Wood hauling and splitting workshop. Hut.
8 p.m. Lantern tour of the Quaker cemetery—with guests New Garden Friends Meeting.

Saturday, Nov. 1
8 p.m. Barn dance and hay rides at Hodgin Valley Farm. Rides leave from the Binford lot at 7:30 p.m.

Throughout the week there will be showings of videos in Founders Lobby, pick-up games around campus, table discussions in the Caf., and other activities. Submit your own ideas.
