Geology MuralThe Department of Geology will formally unveil a new mural in one of its classrooms on Wednesday, Nov. 12, from 1:30-3 p.m. in Frank Family Science Center Room 215.

The mural, painted by art major Kathleen Kennedy '10, depicts the late Cretaceous period, toward the end of the dinosaur era. The composite image shows scenes of woodlands, plains and aquatic life, and includes several dinosaurs.

“She did a great job, and we’re very pleased with it,” says Angela Moore, assistant professor of geology. “It’s an amazing addition to our department.”
