Choir to Present Spring Concert April 20

The Department of Music will present its annual spring concert, featuring the College Choir, Chamber Singers and Guitar Ensemble, on Sunday, April 20, at 7:30 p.m. in Dana Auditorium.

The Guitar Ensemble, directed by music faculty member Kami Rowan, will perform a work by Maurice Ravel, as well as original arrangements of contemporary tunes. The Chamber Singers, directed by Wendy Looker, will sing a number of lute songs by Renaissance composer John Dowland. Finally, the College Choir will perform a variety of traditional music including a spiritual, a chain gang song, a Sephardic wedding song and an Irish street song, as well as contemporary compositions by Frank Ticheli and Peter Louis Van Dijk.
