Guilford to Hold Information Session on Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) Class

Guilford will hold an information session on its upcoming Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) Certification Education Program on Wednesday, Jan. 9, at 6 p.m. in the Leak Room, located in Duke Hall. The session will include a brief presentation followed by a question-and-answer period with a CFP® instructor and student.

The CFP® Certification Education Program is a CFP® Board-registered, five-module curriculum designed to prepare students to sit for the two day comprehensive CFP® Certification examination. The classes for the first module will be held on the Guilford College campus beginning March 5.

Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the marks CFP®, Certified Financial Planner™, and CFP (with flame logo)®, which it awards to individuals who successfully complete initial and ongoing certification requirements.
