Guilford to Hold Paralegal Information Session May 29

Guilford’s Center for Continuing Education will host an information session for its paralegal education programs on Thursday, May 29 at 6 p.m. in the Leak Room, located in Duke Memorial Hall. Guilford will once again offer its Paralegal Certificate Program this fall.

The information session will include an extensive program outline, question and answer portion and refreshments.  A paralegal instructor and two former students will be present.

The Paralegal Certificate Program begins Aug. 4 and runs through Dec. 17 on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6-10 p.m., and one designated Saturday each month from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. The cost of the program is $4,995, which includes instruction, materials and books.  Students can pay in full or opt for a convenient installment pay plan.

Guilford’s Paralegal Certificate Program is approved by the N.C. State Bar, and Guilford College is a member of the American Association for Paralegal Education. The 19-week program is designed to prepare students to sit for the N.C. State Bar Paralegal Certification Examination; students are eligible to sit for the examination once they have successfully completed the course.
