Class of 2012

I choose Guilford because it seemed like the right ‘fit’.  There were two other students in my high school that had come to Guilford and they highly recommended it to me. When I visited, I immediately felt right at home.

I like it because of the sense of community on campus. I have been involved in volunteering for various activities and am now the co-president of the gaming club. I like that my friends and I were allowed the opportunity to create this new club. I have participated in the Community Activities Board as well. Guilford encourages student involvement in all aspects.

The professors get to know you personally and take an interest in you and your education. They have challenged me to work hard and think critically.

As a sophomore, I am a Residential Advisor. This is an opportunity to learn leadership and help First Years get adjusted to the college life.  When I graduate I hope to either participate in Improv Comedy or be involved in Game Design.

I would recommend Guilford to any student that wants a small, supportive caring environment. Guilford encourages personal growth and a love of learning.
