Through part-time, summer, or campus jobs, and internships,students gain valuable experience and develop marketable skills for post-graduate employment.

Students: We receive numerous listings for part-time, temporary and summer jobs off and on campus, including international, summer camp, and childcare opportunities. Students who wish to obtain part-time/summer jobs can access part-time and summer job listings that are updated regularly on our website. There are helpful links on the CACL Hot Web Links page as well. Career Counselors in CACL can help you create and revise a resume and cover letter for any job search you undertake.

Students awarded Work-Study funds as part of their financial aid package may work on campus in one of many positions of responsibility. Descriptions for Work Study jobs (Classifieds) are provided by Student Employment and are available online. Work-Study Placement in campus jobs is coordinated by Dianna LeBaube, (336) 316-2141. 

CACL also develops childcare and tutor lists that are made available, by request, to the Greensboro community. Students who wish to have their names placed on the lists should contact CACL at (336) 316-2187 for more information. These lists are updated at the beginning of each academic year.

 

Full-Time Employment

We receive numerous notices of full-time job postings. These jobs can be ideal for students attending school part-time, graduating seniors, and alumni. These jobs cover various fields and are not limited to local employers. Our online full-time job database can be accessed whenever you need to find a job. We also welcome any employment opportunities from alumni. Opportunities listed in maroon note their connection to the Guilford Community. We receive national bulletins on a monthly basis containing employment opportunities in a variety of fields and geographic regions. For listings from the National Employment Bulletin and other bulk job listing services, please visit the Career Center during office hours.
