I was looking at small, liberal arts colleges on the East Coast, and I came upon Guilford when I was looking at Earlham, which is a Quaker college in Indiana. When I first visited Guilford, I got the feeling that it was going to be a great place for me to spend the next four years.

Overall, my experience at Guilford has been good.  I have gotten involved in so many great activities, from working at the radio station to being on the staff of the literary magazine and have enjoyed them all. The community at Guilford is very open, accepting, and pleasant to be in.

Guilford is a great school for someone who is looking for a small, close-knit community with a great atmosphere who is willing to work hard and have lots of fun. Guilford students are, for the most part, very interested in social issues, dedicated to whatever it is they are doing, and are willing to speak their mind.

I have many aspirations, but the most feasible ones seem to be working in a non-profit women's organization. I also have dreams of becoming a music editor or working at a radio station someday.
