I was looking for small colleges where I would be able to participate in class and feel part of a community. Guilford was the perfect fit and has surpassed my expectations. During my time at Guilford I have been involved in the community. I'm part of the Psychology club, YALP, Intramural basketball, volleyball, and soccer. There are so many clubs people can join, plus it's easy to start one up, too.
The reason I choose Guilford was because they were able to provide so much more than the other colleges that I considered. Along with a strong academic background, Guilford has great professors who care about you and are not hesitant to take you aside and talk about how you can improve in and out of the classroom. Forming a bond with them has helped me to become a better, well-prepared student. I definitely want to pursue graduate school, especially after all the learning and help I received at Guilford. Just be yourself at Guilford, and you'll fit in.
