Hello my name is George and I am a senior here at Guilford College. I found Guilford through my sister who is a Guilford alumni class of 09. We both grew up Quaker and heard about Guilford through our local meeting for worship. My time at Guilford has taught me not only the importance of a strong personal value system but also how to develop one that fits me.
Whether I was attending class, studying in the Library, or giving a presentation the faculty here at Guilford has helped me set and achieve realistic goals. As a philosophy major, my classes have been unparalleled in cultivating rich and diverse class discussions allowing me to further my own thoughts. As a computer information technology major, my fellow students and I have given birth to new and innovative ideas sparked by in class assignments, final projects, and most importantly a community based environment.
