My college counselor introduced me to Guilford. She suggested that I look into the school because it has a great criminal justice program and it was in the area of the country that I wanted to live in during my college years. Guilford appealed to me because it was very similar to my high school. The class sizes are small and the community is very important.

My experience at Guilford had been great. I am a Bonner Scholar, a resident advisor, a teacher's aid and also a member of a number of clubs on campus. Being involved in the community has helped me to get to know people that are here at Guilford but also people from the Greensboro area. I would like to go to law school when I graduate from Guilford. I want to work as a guardian ad litem for juveniles and I plan to begin working as one during the upcoming semester.
