Employment of Relatives

1.800 EMPLOYMENT OF RELATIVES

The College accepts applications for employment from relatives of current employees. For the purposes of this policy, relative is defined as spouse, committed partner, mother, father, brothers, sisters, father- or mother-in-law, sons and daughters, adopted children, sons- and daughters-in-law, aunts and uncles.

The College does not, however, give preferential treatment to the hiring of employees' relatives. These individuals must meet all selection standards and fulfill all job qualifications before they will be considered for employment.

At no time will the College place a relative in a position that is a direct report position to another relative, even on a temporary basis.
